Quality Clauses for GT Machine

QC I Copies of all material, processing and test certificates must accompany each shipment of parts as required

by the part drawing and applicable specifications.

QC 2 All special processes of the purchase order are to be performed by sources approved

by the prime customer, and to the latest revision level of the process specification.

QC 3 Original chemical & physical analysis certifications must accompany each shipment of parts from supplier

purchased materials and hardware. The GT Machine & Tool part number is to be noted on each

certification.

QC 4 Parts shipped to GT Machine Tool must be 100% inspected and accepted by the supplier. Any rework

which needs to be performed by GT Machine &Tool will be debited from the supplier’s invoice.

QC 5 In a case of non-conformance to drawing requirements, all items must be tagged with the discrepancy.

The packing slip should be noted with the number of items discrepant. Notification of any escape must be made to G.T. Machine & Tool for approval of disposition.

QC 6 For a first time production run of any part, First Article Inspection report for each dash number is required

by the supplier. The first article inspection report shall indicate the actual measurement of each

characteristic on the drawing.

QC 7 During the performance of the purchase order, GT Machine & Tool Inc., its customer, and National Aviation

Authorities has the right of entry to the supplier’s plant or office to assure and verify the quality, material,

records and performance of the order.

QC 8 All parts must be protected against damage and corrosion during delivery and performance of the order,

utilizing sound packaging practices.

QC 9 If applicable, assigned serial numbers shall be maintained throughout all manufacturing operations and

shall be identified on all GT Machine Tool documentation at time of shipment.

QC 10 The supplier is responsible to ensure that material utilized for the performance of the order whether

consigned by GT Machine & Tool or furnished by the supplier, is to be segregated to insure traceability and

prevented from being intermingled with other material. Counterfeit parts or raw material is not allowed under any condition.

QC 11 Material consigned by GT Machine &Tool may not be substituted by any other material to complete the

order requirements. If an item is scrapped in excess of the 5% scrap allowance, it is the supplier’s

responsibility to immediately notify in writing, the GT Machine Tool buyer of the need for more material

to be able to catch up to the run, otherwise the supplier may have to run a smaller lot. The supplier will

be liable for the replacement cost, and accountable for all materials consigned by GT Machine & Tool Inc.

QC 12 Upon receipt of a drawing from GT Machine Tool, it is the supplier’s responsibility to thoroughly review

and understand the drawing geometric tolerance symbols, and be capable of complying with the

requirements prior to manufacturing. Any technical questions regarding interpretation shall be in writing

and emailed to gt@gtmachinetool.com

QC 13 In the event that the supplier transfers work to another subcontractor, all Quality Clauses apply. Transfers must be approved by G.T. Machine & Tool before proceeding. Any changes to processes, products, or services, including changes of location of manufacture or services must have G.T. Machine & Tool’s approval before proceeding.

QC 14 Records maintained by the supplier related to product purchased by GT Machine and tool shall be

retained for a period of 10 years.

QC 15 G.T. Machine & Tool will review suppliers On-time delivery and quality. Poor performing suppliers could lead to corrective action requests and even a removal from G.T. Machine’s approved suppliers list.

QC 16 Suppliers shall ensure that all people involved in the provision of products/services to G.T. Machine & Tool are aware of their individual contribution to product or service conformity and their contribution to product safety. The importance of ethical behavior (including compliance with laws, prevention of fraud/falsification, and avoidance of counterfeit parts). Suppliers may be required to provide evidence (e.g., training records or awareness acknowledgments) during audits or upon request.

QC 17 Suppliers will support product safety by ensuring robust management of special requirements, critical items, and key characteristics. Immediately notify G.T Machine & Tool of any concerns related to product safety. This reinforces awareness that individual actions (e.g., proper handling, inspection, or reporting) directly impact end-user safety.

QC 18 Suppliers shall prevent the use of counterfeit parts in accordance with AS9100D clause 8.1.4. Material and part substitutions are not permitted without prior written approval. The supplier must implement controls to detect and avoid counterfeits or suspect/unapproved products, including verification of course authenticity and documentation. Any suspected counterfeit parts or material shall be reported immediately to G.T. Machine & Tool.
